PARALIGNO, PARALIGNO FOIL
and WHITE PARAFFIN

Paraligno is a thermal cataplasm developed by Chemodis. It consists of a mixture of high quality paraffins and waxes, and includes birch wood flour amongst its insulating and thickening agents. Paraligno has a high thermal capacity, which is responsible for the slow rate at which the heat transfer takes place over a long period of time. Due to the fact that Paraligno achieves a total connection with the skin, the heat transfer is optimised, throughout the entirety of the treatment. At constant heating till between 70 degrees C. and 80 degrees C., Paraligno maintains its own sterility. In molten state Paraligno is a pulpy mass enabling complete contiguity to the skin if used with our special paraffin foil. A special melting unit is available to heat the Paraligno and other paraffin mixtures.
